IPRS – International PG Research Scholarships  2016 – University of South Australia: IPRS – awards by  South Australia University are offered by the government of Australia to the international students. The IPRS scholarship will be provided to the candidates depending on their academic merit and research potential.

IPRS - International PG Research Scholarships 2016University Of South Australia International Postgraduate Research Scholarships -IPRS Scholarship will offer the selected candidate with institution tuition fees and OSHC (Overseas student Health Cover) and offer stipend (allowance for living). The scholarship will not pay travelling charges. A thesis allowance is offered to pay the cost of printing and binding the thesis.

These terms and conditions apply to all students who accept offers from the South Australia University for the IPRS (International Postgraduate Research Scholarships) or UniSA President’s scholarship

University of South Australia IPRS Award – Candidate Eligibility Criteria:

For Australian applicants:

Scholarships are available to support candidates enrolling in the University’s areas of research concentration and research strength.

IPRS Award – Scholarships – Main criteria

» » Generally the contestant should have first-class Honors or equivalent to gain a (IPRS) scholarship at the South Australia University.
» » IPRS Scholarships are offered on the basis that the student will be pursuing full-time. In some cases, applicant can apply to receive IPRS scholarships on a part-time basis if there are compelling social reasons (eg the need to provide full-time care of children, disabled, sick, injured or elderly). The need to undertake part- or full-time work is not considered a compelling social reason.

Candidates who are not eligible for IPRS awards of University of South Australia:

» » Candidates who are receiving an equivalent major award or scholarship or salary from any other source, other than approved supplementary scholarships of lesser value, or remuneration for approved part-time employment
» » Students who have completed their PhD or its equivalent course.
» » Students have completed a Masters Degree or equivalent unless commencing a PhD
» » Seek to undertake paid employment on a full-time or substantial part-time basis

International applicants:

International PG Research Scholarships are meant for support candidates enrolling in areas of research concentration and research strength.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarship – IPRS – Main criteria

» » Students should have first-class Honors or equivalent to get a scholarship at the South Australia University.
» » Student should be enrolled on a full-time basis as students for a Masters by Research or PhD at the South Australia University.
» » Student shall be admitted as an internal candidate at the South Australia University.

University of south Australia IPRS –  Scholarship — Candidates who are not eligible:

» » Students who are receiving an equal scholarship or award or salary from any other organization or source, other than approved supplementary awards of lesser value
» » Candidates who have already completed a PhD or it equivalent course.
» » Applicants who have already completed a Masters program or equivalent unless commencing a PhD
» » Students seek to undertake paid employment on a full-time or substantial part-time basis.

Value- International PG Research Scholarships (IPRS):

» » $25,849 per year for 3 years, with the possibility of one six-month extension (2015 stipend rate)
